I want these books. But I have too many already. But I want these books. But I have too many.

Please enter me. Half my brain hopes I don't win.

I think Nora Roberts books are my favorite beach reads. Half my attention can be on everything around me, the other half can be with interesting characters in entertaining situations.

I like Sister Honey Bunch's suggestion, except that I don't think I'll be willing to wait to get to the beach to read it!

Oh, gosh, I can't separate books by season! I always love a good fantasy, and beaches seem to be good for re-reading, since I always fall asleep under the sun. So I'll go with my old stand-by, Ender's Game.

It's not a new book, but I have been reading the Julia Quinn Bridgerton Family series. The Duke and I, The Viscount Who Loved Me, and so on. And, to balance it out with some smart reading, Postmodern Fables by Lyotard.

I am reading, "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver. Good things to think about in regards to how we eat, and also inspiration as to what to do with all of the beautiful produce from our CSA and farmer's market. I would be thrilled to win these books! I love to read and can never have enough books!

My favorite summer read so far this summer is "Dog On It" by Spencer Quinn. It is an amusing mystery told from the perspective of the PI's dog. It's great fun!

My favorite summer reads are old favorites: Hemingway, Kundera, etc. It may seem heavy, but I've read them all so much that they're just enjoyable to me!

Thanks!

Anything by Jackie Collins. I'm now reading "Hollywood Kids". Great beach books!

Tom Perrotta's "Little Children". It's a great story, captures the life of stay-at-home moms in the suburbs and it takes place during the summer. Great reading for by the community pool! Much better than the movie by the same name.
