Mother Daughter Book Club Resource

A few months ago, Cindy Hudson from the MotherDaughterBookClub.com stumbled across my blog and contacted me. I am so glad that she did because she introduced me to a terrific resource for Mother Daughter Book Clubs. I immediately bookmarked her website because it has reading lists and reviews (by both moms and daughters) of books for many different age groups. There is also a very nice section with author interviews. I especially like meeting ideas that she has listed which would really enhance the mother daughter reading experience. (I'm still working on that part of our club!) You can also sign up for her newsletter here.

Cindy is the mother of two teenage daughters and actually participates in two mother daughter book clubs -- how lucky is that! Cindy is also a fellow blogger who has been blogging for a little over a year. Please take a look at her website and blog. I'm sure you will find that they are extremely beneficial and will enjoy reading them as much as I do.

"Booking Daughter" would be very upset if I didn't mention that she has a review posted on MotherDaughterBookClub.com for Sarah: Plain and Tall. It is our hope that after every meeting of our Mother Daughter Book Club, at least one of us will be able to submit a review. If you are a member of a mother daughter book club or looking to start one, I'm sure Cindy would be thrilled to hear from you too!

Thanks for letting other people know about MotherDaughterBookClub.com. It gets better and better as a resource when moms and daughters take a little bit of time to let others know what's working for them.

I look forward to getting new reviews from your group and hearing about the fun you have as you continue to meet.

Thanks for writing this post! I know that once my oldest is in second grade (September 2009) then I'm going to try out a mother/daughter book club.
