Bag Ladies Tea Novel Teas & Giveaway

You have probably figured out by know that I am passionate about books. But what you might not know is that I also adore all types of tea. I love to drink hot tea during the cold winter months, but I also drink iced tea all summer long. So when I learned that Bag Ladies Tea has boxed tea gift sets called Novel Teas, I thought it was the ideal thing for book and tea lovers -- just like me!

Novel Teas contains 25 teabags individually tagged with literary quotes from the world over, made with the finest English Breakfast tea.

Spend teatime with CS Lewis, Rita Mae Brown, Alice Hoffman, and more as they share their thoughts on the delights and comforts of tea and books on each individually printed tea tag.

There is no better company than a steaming cup of tea as you open the cover of a favorite classic or turn the page of the latest thriller.

Whether traveling to distant times and far off lands or discovering new characters
in a nearby locale, a soothing cup of tea makes the journey more pleasurable and the memory lasting.

Novel Teas are the perfect compliment to your literary journey.

Enjoy them iced by the pool for that steamy summer romance, or hot by the hearth for that long winter epic. -- Bag Ladies Tea

I can not rave enough about what a great idea I think Novel Teas are. Talk about the perfect gift for book and tea lovers! The tea bags come in an adorable box filled with 25 or 5 tea bags. I think the bigger box ($12.50) is perfect as a gift all by itself. Or you can pair it with a book, mug, gift certificate -- you can even make it part of a gift basket. The small pillow box of 5 tea bags is the absolute perfect stocking stuffer. Plus, five percent of every purchase of Novel Teas will be donated to the United Way Book Drive Fund.

While I admit to being partial for the Novel Teas, Bag Ladies Tea has loads of terrific tea for packages for anyone on your gift list. Some of my other favorites are: O, Christmas Tea!, Tea for Teacher, Bananas for Nana, and Girlfriends. There really is a tea gift set for anything you can think of including wedding, new baby, and birthdays! There is also a Blossom Collection of "sophisticated yet whimsical" teas.

Since it is the holiday season and I like to spread cheer, I am giving away a small (5 tea bags) box Novel Teas! If you'd like to win this, just leave a comment with your email address telling me your favorite flavor of tea! To increase your chances, you can blog and or tweet about this giveaway with a link back to this post. This contest will be open until Sunday, December 20th at 11:59 p.m. ET, and I will notify the winner the following day. Good luck!

Update: After I posted this contest, Bag Ladies Tea has offered up another 25 count box of Novel Teas for a giveaway. That means that I will be selecting two winners now -- one person will receive a 5 count box and another person will receive a 25 count box!

Thanks to Bag Ladies Tea for sending me samples of your delicious tea!

I wish I had seen this about two weeks ago, and I would have bought a box for the school librarian. She loves tea! I don't drink coffee, so tea is my hot drink of choice. I love anything, but am partial to green teas and anything with orange in it (that is the Floridian in me coming out I guess!) Thank you! rnawrot at cfl dot rr dot com

Well this is a giveaway that was made for me! Oh, and 56 people before me! ;). I love tea and I love books. I am a teaaholic and a bibliophile! I have just organized my loose teas into beautiful glass containers, all labelled and everything. Right now I am into the Roobioos tea with milk. I love Earl Grey too and green teas and my mainstay, orange pekoe. Teas soothe my soul, in winter, summer, spring and fall. I love tea! A cup of tea when I walk in the door. A cup of tea when I sit down to read. A cup of tea when I sit and stitch. A cup of tea to keep my nerves under control.

I will be blogging about this giveaway and will come back to let you know that I did it!

thanks so much for your generosity!
