So, if you've ever put on a piece of clothing and asked "Does this make me look fat?" Finally, here is the book that will answer your question. -- Springboard

When I heard that Charla Krupp had a new book out called HOW TO NEVER LOOK FAT AGAIN: OVER 1000 WAYS TO DRESS THINNER -- WITHOUT DIETING!, I knew I had to have it! I loved her last book HOW NOT TO LOOK OLD because it had so many wonderful ideas about how to look younger (doesn't that sound a little nicer?), and I was even more excited by this one. In my heart of hearts, I know that the answer to "How to never look fat again" is to lose more weight, but most of us know that it's often times easier said than done (especially once you hit the big 4-0.) So the thought that a book would have over 1000 ways to look up to ten pounds thinner -- without dieting -- definitely appeals to me!

This book is just terrific and loaded with helpful advice! I have had the best time looking through it over and over again. I swear each time I learn something knew. It really is amazing how big of a difference our clothes and accessories can make to our overall appearance. I know I'm often times guilty of wanting the "cute" outfit regardless of whether it's right for my body shape or height. Hopefully, I can keep Ms. Krupp's recommendations in mind next time I'm out shopping for clothes.

HOW TO NEVER LOOK FAT AGAIN is very user-friendly and easy to read in bits and pieces. The author has divided the book into sections (some might not be appropriate for you, but I guarantee that most of them are!) I especially liked the checklist which helps you identify your "problems;" and I also thought the section "Thinner by Tonight! Instant Gratification" was especially helpful. Ms. Krupp has included some specific sections for petite woman as well as women who are size 14 and up. And I thought the sections on "Brilliant Buys" -- specific recommendations for products that really work -- were excellent starting points to find those "miracle products."

To a lover of all things makeup and fashion, the color photographs are one of the most striking things about this book. There are tons of them and they are gorgeous. Since the book is really all about "looking" thinner, you can imagine how important the pictures are to the author's main points. Some of the ways the author used photographs to illustrate her points included showing ideal haircuts for wide faces, how to hide a muffin top, and how to find the most flattering bathing suit. The before and after photos are extremely effective in making Ms. Krupp's points, and some are even pretty funny!

I feel as if I just touched the tip of the iceberg with this review. It's truly unbelievable how many ideas are in this book. The author covers everything from wide feet and ankles, to saggy boobs, to a big booty, to back fat, to a buddha belly to name just a few of the troubled areas. She also shows how to select the best look for your body type in everything from swimwear, to evening wear, to lingerie, to workout clothes, and more. Since it's a known fact that almost all women are unhappy with certain parts of their body, I love that Ms. Krupp has identified so many ways to flaunt our best assets. Ultimately, if women are comfortable in knowing that they are wearing the right types of clothes and accessories, it can only make them more self-confident and therefore happier!

I just love HOW TO NEVER LOOK FAT AGAIN and it's a welcome addition to my bookshelves. I can't wait to go shopping and try out all of Ms. Krupp's advice!
