Mailbox Monday - February 23, 2009

I know I sound like I'm bragging, but I received some more wonderful books this week:

THE SORROWS OF AN AMERICAN - Siri Hustvedt

BECAUSE I LOVE HER: 34 WOMEN WRITERS REFLECT ON THE MOTHER-DAUGHTER BOND (ARC) edited by Andrea N. Richesin

THE LOCAL NEWS by Miriam Gershow - I think this one is a Shelf Awareness request from a few months back.

THE BEAUTY DIET by Lisa Drayer - I requested this book from the Mini Book Expo for Bloggers.

SAG HARBOR by Colson Whitehead - I requested this one from the Barnes and Noble First Look Book Club, but I've also seen it on Shelf Awareness

THE TEN YEAR NAP by Meg Wolitzer

SLEEPWALKING IN DAYLIGHT by Elizabeth Flock

PICKING COTTON: OUR MEMOIR OF INJUSTICE AND REDEMPTION by Jennier Thompson-Cannino and Ronald Cotton with Erin Torneo

What did you get last week?

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page.

*sigh....I am sad.....*tear rolls down cheek. No Books for me last week. The bad part of living on the west coast is watching all the people to the east receive books a week before I do! I sure hope I get The Strain and Big Sid's Vincati this week. I've noticed they're starting to arrive in the East coast mailboxes.

I'm so glad you're doing this meme now so I can see what you got. I got The Local News too. I should finish Sag Harbor today.

You had a great week! I've been looking forward to The Local News and Sleepwalking in Daylight.

Looking forward to what you think of the Ten-Year Nap. I really enjoyed it (probably because of the NYC aspect), but I know some people disagreed with me.

Brag away, we always want to know what each other gets! I sure hope that I get The Local News, that was a request from months ago. Sag Harbor looks great also.

I'm curious to see if I'll get The Local News. I remember requesting it a while back.

I'd be really interested to hear how you like the Beauty Diet - I read a bunch of beauty books this year, so that might be a good addition to my bookshelf!

Here's my Mailbox! ~ Wendi
