What new words did you discover this week?
I can tell I'm older than you, because I know exactly what a dirndl skirt is. Gallimaufry on the other hand, is totally new to me. I'm not sure I could even pronounce it. Thanks for playing along.
ReplyDeleteDirndl skirts were very popular in the 1950s. (I'm older than you too.) Thinking of those skirts was a fun memory. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI am so finding a way to work gallimaufry into a conversation today :)
ReplyDeleteBoth of your words are fun to say! I need a gallimaufry of dirndls!
ReplyDeleteHearing the definition of a drindle skirt made me want to go look for an image. I am curious if they are level at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteI love the word gullimaufry and plan to use it soon.
