Not a diabetic but several in the family so have tried to learn a bit and make options available to them when they visit. This sounds like a good book.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04501259287565067209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7008131509611971593.post-19396044110399448292010-05-09T13:44:33.438-04:002010-05-09T13:44:33.438-04:00I am a diabetic, as is my husband, mother and brot...I am a diabetic, as is my husband, mother and brother. Yes, diabetics can use artificial sweeteners. Stevia would be the best. I prefer Splenda. My mom bakes with the Splenda cooking sweetener and it works quite well...just not as moist.

Blessings,
Cindy W.

countrybeart52[at]yahoo[dot]comCindy W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09030648905662071478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7008131509611971593.post-63849217870957012382010-05-09T13:26:52.007-04:002010-05-09T13:26:52.007-04:00Complex recipes always daunt me too.Complex recipes always daunt me too.Lenore Appelhanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16664671644163369772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7008131509611971593.post-10750940367731106482010-05-09T09:13:22.316-04:002010-05-09T09:13:22.316-04:00I've heard that diabetics are the only ones wh...I've heard that diabetics are the only ones who should use artificial sweeteners. But on the other hand I have lived with diabetics and know how hard it is to go without so many things unless you can use artificial sweeteners. When you think about how we could go off GameOn any time if it was making us crazy, but they can never go off! Very hard! I'm glad more people are trying to come up with good cookbooks!rhapsodyinbookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07041412748239010264noreply@blogger.com
